Job Summary
Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines for an insurance client using Snowflake, DBT, AWS Glue, and Amazon Kinesis. Responsibilities include data ingestion and processing, transformations across Raw/Silver/Gold layers, supporting Power BI self-service reporting, and optimizing pipelines for performance and cost. Collaborative work with senior engineers on a modern cloud stack, ensuring data quality, governance, and alignment with business KPIs in the insurance domain.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL Development
- Experience working on cloud-based data platforms
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, AWS Glue, Amazon Kinesis
- Strong proficiency in SQL and basic data modeling concepts
- Programming knowledge in Python (preferred)
- Exposure to Power BI for data reporting
