Job Summary
Warehouse Associate 3 (Picker) at Emser Tile coordinates picking line orders and staging for shipping within a Houston distribution center. Responsibilities include picking product, building pallets, staging on the shipping dock according to schedule, using RF scanners to ensure accuracy, verifying shade numbers via labels, creating and placing new license plates on pallets, submitting breakage reports, reading item labels to identify product type, navigating a busy distribution environment, maintaining accuracy and organization, and supporting internal/external customers. Requires 1-3 years of picking experience, forklift certification, ability to lift 100+ pounds, bilingual Spanish a plus, strong math and communication skills, and a customer-focused, collaborative mindset. This is an hourly, full-time role with regular attendance and potential for overtime based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a Picking position
- Forklift certification required
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 100+ pounds
- Excellent basic math functions (piece to square foot calculations)
- Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
