Job Summary
Coordinate daily reports, bills, and paperwork for the HomeGoods Distribution Center in Bloomfield, CT. Act as the liaison between store operations, management, and the Home Office Transportation Department regarding inbound and outbound shipments. Audit the yard for shipment discrepancies and communicate with carriers on unresolved issues. Assist receiving and shipping clerical staff with daily responsibilities, manage loading and delivery to stores and cross-dock destinations, and complete special projects as assigned. Work Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the 1415 Blue Hills Ave location. Requires at least one year of related experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- At least (1) year of related experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels of Management
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Must be comfortable with creating and maintaining spreadsheet formulas/data with Excel
- Strong Customer Service and teamwork skills
- Be timely to work

- Associates degree preferred, not required
