Job Summary
DC Supervisor - Stocking oversees the stocking and distribution of incoming merchandise in the Distribution Center, supervises the Stocking team (including Assistant Stocking Supervisor, Inbound Lead, and Inbound Materials handling personnel), and ensures accurate inventory, safety, and adherence to policies. Responsibilities include resolving personnel and shipment issues, maintaining DC-WMS or paper-based processes, coordinating with HR on hiring, conducting monthly department meetings, ensuring stock adjustments and product line changes are executed, evaluating team members, and driving safety and efficiency across operations. Requires strong leadership, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and proficiency with basic computer tools; emphasizes maintaining a clean, organized DC and achieving timely, accurate stock and inventory management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Excellent at detailed work with above average skills in written and verbal communication
- Must be able to oversee multiple tasks at one time and prioritize accordingly
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on customer service
- Must be able to read and match numerical and alpha characters quickly and accurately
- Basic computer skills
