Job Summary
Responsible for directing the outbound operations of the order processing department within a distribution center. Oversee all aspects of the department, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Collaborate with operations and DC managers on maintaining payroll figures and productivity. Lead team member evaluations, provide leadership and training, and work to ensure high productivity and morale. Establish annual goals with management and assist in effective recruiting and training practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be able to multitask and work well in a team environment
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on customer service
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately
Desired Qualifications
- College degree or logistics certification
- 2+ years previous experience in a supervisor role
- Advanced computer skills
- Completion of the O’Reilly supervisor training program
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
