Job Summary
DC Supervisor (Newnan) oversees warehouse operations including receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance; plans layout and space utilization; enforces policies, drives safety, stock control, and KPI tracking; liaises with clients, suppliers and transporters; plans work routes and assigns tasks; coaches staff and produces regular reports. Must have proven warehouse supervisory experience, expertise in warehouse management, process-improvement capabilities, KPI knowledge, experience with WMS/databases, leadership and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability to manage a team
