Job Summary
Oversee warehouse operations in Newnan on 1st shift, including receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance; set up layout and optimize space, enforce policies and procedures, ensure health and safety, manage stock control and reconcile with data storage systems; liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies; plan work routes, assign tasks, monitor performance, coach and motivate staff, and produce regular reports and statistics to measure service quality.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability to manage a team
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
