Job Summary
Supervise daily warehouse schedules for shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading operations while determining storage space requirements and scheduling product distribution. Ensure equipment maintenance and safety compliance for hazardous materials, then monitor employee attendance, productivity, and performance markers to provide counseling as needed. Coordinate with operations managers and telephone sales regarding shipment cut-off times and merchandise shortages, while maintaining records for lost sales, errors, and production reports. Recommend procedural changes to improve unit efficiency. This role requires 1 to 3 years of warehouse experience and an Associate Degree, with bi-lingual skills preferred. Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years prior work experience in a warehouse related field
- Previous work experience in a warehouse or distribution center including material handling, inventory tracking, and providing work direction to other teammates
- Associate Degree, or equivalent experience
