DC Shift Lead

Job Summary
Oversee site operations and incident management for a data centre environment, plan and supervise planned and reactive maintenance using CMMS, ensure on-site repairs by contractors meet standards, implement safe work practices and energy-management procedures, coordinate training for on-site teams, maintain the site asset database and CMMS updates, and contribute to monthly client reports while ensuring compliance with fire, health and safety regulations. Ideal candidate holds tertiary qualification in mechanical/electrical/operational engineering, is a Registered Electrical Worker or equivalent, and has 3–4 years of engineering/construction services experience with 1–2 years in Tier III data centre or equivalent facilities, plus continuous improvement and reporting experience.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in a mechanical, electrical or operational engineering discipline
- Registered Electrical Worker or equivalent
- Data Centre certification
- 3 – 4 years of relevant experience in engineering or constructions services
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in the operation of electrical and mechanical services in Tier III or equivalent data centre or critical facility
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and preparation of reports
