Job Summary
Powered Equipment Operator in a DC environment handling Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift or other machinery on 2nd shift (2:30pm–11:00pm, Mon-Fri). Responsibilities include moving pallets to dock doors, safe operation of machinery, daily equipment checks, reporting mechanical issues, maintaining a clean work area, adhering to safety rules, and performing additional duties as directed, including assisting in other warehouse functions. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to read safety and operating manuals, certification for equipment, and ability to lift 50 pounds; some overtime including weekends is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Must be able to pass equipment certification test and show proficiency in driving equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
