Job Summary
Conduct quality installations of DC power, transport, and data center equipment in Telecom, Data Center, and Outside Plant environments, performing additions, removals, and modifications on non-working circuits. Lead all job assignments including "hot" work, PMs, and site surveys, while overseeing personnel assignments, time management, and training. Analyze job drawings, specifications, and MOPs to resolve issues prior to start, ensuring compliance with standards like GR-1275 and TP76300. Prioritize safety by following company and customer procedures and utilizing proper PPE during extreme weather conditions. Participate in project meetings to report progress and forecast issues. Requires a driver's license, ability to travel 100%, and on-call responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- Level 4 installers shall have a minimum of 6 years' accumulated experience or equivalent as determined by Telcordia specifications
- High school diploma
- Special electronics training or work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry and customer specific standards such as GR-1275, TP76300, IP72202, etc
- Strong verbal, written and customer-facing skills
- Strong computer skills to include MS Office experience
- Proficient in the use of electronic test equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for evenings
- Must be available for holidays
- May have on-call responsibility
- Work Authorization: legally authorized to work in the United States
