Job Summary
Supervisor responsible for managing, coordinating, and monitoring processes and workflows at the distribution site. Oversees receiving, stocking, processing, and shipping; trains and develops staff; prepares reports and analyzes operations; communicates daily plans; optimizes labor deployment; ensures safety and housekeeping; and drives productivity, cost, and quality improvements in a distribution-center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Five to seven years of experience in distribution operations or an equivalent combination of training and supervisory experience
- Knowledge of distribution and inventory control methods and procedures
- Ability to apply safety and security measures in a distribution center
- Detail-oriented with strong mathematical and written abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively to department teams, cross-functional partners and upper management
- Strong planning skills with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Computer experience (PkMS a plus)
