Job Summary
Supervises the day-to-day operations of the merchandise control and accuracy control teams, ensuring integrity of merchandising, legal and quality control philosophies; builds and develops effective teams through training; drives the Quality Awareness Program and demonstrates strong understanding of Brand, Fashion, Quality, and Price requirements; determines staffing and collaborates with DC Ops and Planning to translate merchandising strategies into actions; identifies vendor opportunities to improve merch flow and speed to market; monitors inventory controls to prevent shrink and damage; participates in quarterly purges and annual inventories; oversees ads, LPRs, damages, and RTVs to drive profitability; supports associate training programs and ongoing staff development.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of management or merchandising experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retailing, or equivalent job experience
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiation and influencing skills; analytical/critical thinking
- Tech savvy; passion for leading people
