Job Summary
DC Maintenance Technician at The Home Depot responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and repairing equipment in a warehouse environment. Primary duties include troubleshooting and repairing electric lift equipment, conveyor systems, and associated mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic components; performing preventative maintenance and necessary modifications on equipment and facilities; providing equipment status reports and addressing unusual maintenance problems; adhering to safety guidelines and OSHA standards; maintaining a safe, clean work area; occasional overnight travel (<10%). Requires hands-on mechanical skills, experience with conveyors, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends/evenings/holidays; trade-school level education or equivalent, with typically 1 year of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Experience working on conveyor systems (preferred)
- Minimum Education: trade school degree program or equivalent in related field
- Minimum Years of Work Experience: 1
