Job Summary
Take ownership as an Inverter Integration HW Engineer for a power electronics component in New Energy Vehicles, from conceptual design and functional specification to validation and series production readiness. Responsible for the component’s design, simulation and measurement of DC-link capacitors, including electromagnetic and thermal simulations (FEM), component characterization, and verification of models. Plan and coordinate component tests and qualifications according to automotive standards; create requirements and test specifications for suppliers and provide technical support. Drive cross-domain collaboration to integrate the capacitor into the inverter system.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Physics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in hardware development
- Experience in FEM simulation tools (e.g., Comsol, Ansys)
- Experience in technical supplier management
- In-depth knowledge of power electronics and specific requirements for passive components in NEV applications (traction inverters)
- Familiarity with various power electronics topologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
