Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse workflow, meet department goals, and resolve operational issues while training subordinates to improve performance. Cultivate continuous improvement by identifying efficiency and accuracy opportunities, ensuring the department remains clean, organized, and safe. Adhere strictly to safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safety harnesses. Assist in shipping, receiving, and inventory management with proven leadership skills. Work 6a-2:30p or 10a-6:30p Monday through Friday at $22.00/hr. Join a Fortune 500 distributor serving infrastructure, plumbing, and commercial projects across the U.S. and Canada.
Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years of experience
- Has proven the ability to train others
- Fully proficient in multiple core warehouse functions
- Proven understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer proficient
- Strong organization skills
- Leadership qualities to take and give team direction
- Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to wear a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred
