Job Summary
Provide individual and group DBT therapy sessions using standard protocols and evidence-based techniques. Facilitate skills training groups covering mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Participate in DBT consultation team meetings and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate whole-person care. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as clinically indicated. Requires Master's degree, active Illinois licensure, and formal DBT certification. Pay is percentage-based with flexible work-from-home options.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Active Illinois clinical licensure (LPC, LSW, LCSW, LCPC, or equivalent)
- Formal training or certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Experience delivering individual DBT therapy and/or DBT skills groups
- Strong knowledge of DBT principles, biosocial theory, and chain analysis
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, client-centered approach with strong professional boundaries
