Job Summary
Lead database migration and synchronization strategies to cloud environments (AWS/Azure), ensuring data integrity, consistency, and availability. Define technical migration strategies evaluating architecture, dependencies, and operational models, while designing replication and CDC mechanisms for low-impact transitions. Execute migrations, configure tools like DMS and GoldenGate, and validate post-migration consistency. Optimize performance in cloud environments, design backup and disaster recovery plans, and coordinate with application, infrastructure, and vendor teams. Document technical decisions, runbooks, and validation evidence for operational handover.
