Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of gym facilities at db San Antonio Hotel + Spa and Xemxija Bay Hotel, leading the team, developing fitness programs, and ensuring equipment maintenance. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene while monitoring guest satisfaction and handling feedback. Manage staff schedules, training, and performance, support membership sales, and monitor departmental costs and stock levels. Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and collaborate with hotel management to enhance the guest experience. Requires flexibility to work across both properties, including weekends and public holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in gym, fitness, leisure, or wellness management
- A recognised qualification in fitness, personal training, or a related field
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer-service abilities
- Good knowledge of gym operations, equipment, and safety procedures
- Commercial awareness and the ability to promote memberships and services
- Flexibility to work across both properties, including weekends and public holidays when required
