Job Summary
Operate multiple stations including load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, and front as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager. Prepare quality finished products such as sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, and ice cream efficiently while complying with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness, and safety. Restock food lines, chips, and coolers; clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and utensils; and take out trash. Operate the cash register, handling and balancing cash according to procedures. Effectively handle customer complaints and issues, and take delivery, catering, or pickup orders over the phone. Morning and day shifts ranging from 8am-4pm. Illinois applicants must obtain food safety certification within 30 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- at least 16 years of age
- friendly, customer-first mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- comfortable working in a bustling kitchen environment
- ability to manage potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
- team player
- ability to stand/walk a minimum of 3 hours or as needed
- ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- food safety certification within 30 days of employment (Illinois applicants only)
