Job Summary
Daytime Order Fulfillment role at The Home Depot in Halifax: perform order picking, packing, labeling, and loading onto delivery vehicles; handle basic customer order transactions (POS/sales and returns); maintain safety and accuracy in packing to prevent damage; operate Order Fulfillment applications and read COM orders; work in a fast-paced retail/warehouse setting with potential overnight/extended hours; requires attention to detail, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to meet customer satisfaction under Home Depot’s GET service model.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years Retail or Distribution experience (asset)
- Knowledge of operating reach trucks and order picker machines
- Ability to lift and move heavy and bulky items
- Ability to read COM orders or notes in the system
- Ability to perform basic customer order-related transactions (POS sales and returns)
- Comfort with safety regulations and warehouse environment
