Job Summary
Supervise custodial staff at Lancaster High School by providing daily training, direction, and performance evaluations. Manage a team of custodians under your leadership, ensuring all cleaning duties are completed efficiently during the 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday shift. You must pass the Managing Custodian written and/or hands-on test and hold at least three years of custodial experience, preferably within the Lancaster City Schools. A high school diploma or equivalency is required. This role supports the school's daily operations as part of the Lancaster City Schools Human Resource Services classified vacancy for the 2026-2027 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a high school graduate or possess an equivalency
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities
- Ability to supervise custodians under his/her management, provide training and direction for those employees, and assist in evaluation and/or evaluate as may be necessary
- Pass the Managing Custodian written and/or hands-on test
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a custodian (preferably within the Lancaster City Schools) with a minimum of three (3) years' experience preferred
