Job Summary
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage dining room reservations and coordinate seating to ensure smooth service flow. Assist with to-go orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Provide special services for diners celebrating special occasions. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely seating and delivery of excellent guest experiences. Assist with event coordination and special requests as directed by management. Support the team with additional tasks as needed, including assisting with training and guest requests. Join the Max Hospitality Team at our newest location in Avon, CT, Monday through Friday from 11 am to 3 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Monday-Friday 11am-3pm availability
- Strong communication skills with a polished phone manner
- Friendly, engaging, and professional personality
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy, fast-paced environment
- A positive outlook and team-player attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage guest concerns with professionalism
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment while providing excellent service
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Host or in a guest-facing role
- Familiarity with reservation systems such as OpenTable
- Experience working in a high-energy, casual dining environment
