Process check-out transactions by operating the cash register and scanner to itemize purchases, total orders, and bag merchandise while handling cash, checks, gift cards, and credit/debit cards. Extend offers for the Extended Protection Policy on qualifying items and maintain brand standards at the front end and sales floor. Greet customers with a smile to create a pleasant interaction, promote the customer loyalty program and other company initiatives, and reduce shrink by following all policies and procedures. Work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
