Job Summary
Overnight Dayside Medical Communications Supervisor leading the Customer Solutions Center, ensuring call-center performance, prompt inbound call handling, accurate dispatch of transport requests, and compliance with policies during 1830-0630 shifts. Responsibilities include supervising call-center agents, monitoring volumes (approximately 300 inbound calls daily and 150 transports daily), coordinating with contracted facilities, customers, and field operations, maintaining on-time performance and contractual requirements, prioritizing daily workload, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and supporting billing accuracy. Requires strong leadership, decision making in critical situations, excellent communication, EMS background (NREMT/EMT), 1+ year of supervisory experience, proficiency with Excel for reporting, and ability to remain calm under pressure. Interactions involve cross-functional collaboration and potential recall during staffing shortages; role may include filling a staff position as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years of experience working in a call center
- Previous EMS experience, EMT or higher a requirement
- NREMT or MD EMT Required
- One year of supervisory experience
- Must be available for recall in times of crisis or when needed
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to speak and write English
