Job Summary
Manage an assigned shift or site while overseeing daily workflow and scheduling cleaners. Interview, hire, and train janitorial staff, conducting regular walk-throughs and cleaning inspections to ensure a safe environment. Maintain effective communication with clients and facility personnel to verify contract requirements are met. Fill in when needed and perform other related duties. Manufacturing supervision background preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must have cleaning or housekeeping experience
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience in the janitorial field
- Experience managing janitorial operations
- Proven experience motivating and training staff
- Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines; self-directed
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and achieve effective time management
- Strong service/quality mindset
- Professionalism
- Proven computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing Supervision Background preferred
