Job Summary
Lead end-to-end bid management by overseeing the full lifecycle from opportunity identification to final proposal submission. Collaborate with sales to define winning strategies, coordinate virtual teams across sales, marketing, product, finance, and technical departments, and manage bid budgets and timelines. Create high-quality bid documents and marketing collateral while ensuring full compliance with client requirements and industry standards. Monitor performance, gather feedback, and conduct post-bid reviews to drive continuous improvement. This role requires strong project management, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen within the Australian infrastructure and construction sector.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Project Management & Coordination: The ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, including technical writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to develop and execute strategies that align with business goals and client needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Adobe Creative Suite: Skills in Microsoft Office are essential, and proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is often required for document creation.
- Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy is necessary for ensuring compliant and high-quality bid submissions.
- Organisation: Highly organised and can manage deadlines.
- Commercial Acumen: Understanding commercial aspects and profitability is crucial when reviewing bid pricing and terms.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working in a construction business in AU or NZ.
