Job Summary
Prepare technical drawings using Revit CAD software to create 3D computer models of buildings from blueprints or scratch. Collaborate with architects and engineers to produce drawings meeting specifications, while writing material lists, cost estimates, and related technical documents. Ensure all drawings are accurate, incorporating exact measurements, building codes, and construction details for building permits. Maintain a library of standard drawing templates and update existing drawings as new information becomes available. This permanent dayshift role requires solid knowledge of Australian construction codes and experience with Revit and Adobe Suite.
Required Qualifications
- relevant experience as an Architectural Draftsman
- Knowledge of Australian construction codes and requirements
- Experience in using Revit
- Experience in using Adobe Suite
- Written and verbal communication skills
