Job Summary
Sweep, mop, strip, scrub, finish, and buff all hard floors, corridors, and restroom surfaces. Vacuum, shampoo, extract, and spot clean carpets as scheduled. Inspect corners by hand, remove floor drain plates, and correct finish build-up. Maintain equipment in good condition and report leaks, maintenance concerns, or unsafe conditions immediately. Perform daily cleaning duties including lifting 50 pounds and working in various environments. Full-time position with 7:00am to 3:30pm shifts at $15.00 an hour. Bilingual Spanish/English and janitorial experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
- Must be able to climb up and down a ladder.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.
- Reliable Transportation.
Desired Qualifications
- Janitor/Cleaning experience is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
