Job Summary
Lead elementary students in enrichment activities within our after school setting to foster youth development. Guide students through ministry-focused programs while modeling wholeheartedness and reaching their full potential. This role supports the mission of mobilizing godly people into the lives of kids and families through tangible help and eternal hope. Staff members serve as Ministers of the Gospel, influencing and impacting the community. The position is non-exempt, part-time, averaging 17-20 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year. Candidates must be at least 17, possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D., and hold mandatory CPR/First Aid certification, a valid driver's license, and a clean background check. Spanish-speaking ability is greatly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
- Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification
- Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
- Valid driver's license or Valid ID
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- Have dependable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- some post-secondary training highly preferred
- Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
- Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
