Job Summary
Supervise children ages 18 months to 5, ensuring safety at all times while implementing daily activities, crafts, and learning experiences. Routinely change diapers, assist with potty training, and maintain hygiene standards in accordance with licensing regulations. Foster social and emotional growth through positive interactions and support daily routines including meals, rest, and handwashing. Maintain a clean, organized classroom and document children's progress while communicating professionally with parents. Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties as needed. Work full-time 9am–5pm Mon–Fri in a play-based environment on the main floor.
Required Qualifications
- Must be reliable, patient, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a classroom while maintaining a positive and engaging environment
- Must be able to pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of childcare experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
- Experience with play-based learning
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to adapt to changing classroom needs and work well as part of a team
