Job Summary
Daycare Infant Assistant Teacher position in Jacksonville, FL. Responsible for developing a careful and creative program suitable for infants, employing storytelling and educational play to teach children, observing each child to help improve social skills, guiding children to develop artistic and practical capabilities through a structured curriculum, organizing nap and snack times, supervising safety, tracking children’s progress, and communicating with parents regularly. Collaborates with other educators, maintains a clean and safe classroom, and supports a flexible schedule in a warm, supportive school environment. Qualifications include being at least 18 with a High School Diploma or GED, 45 DCF hours, and 1-2 years of experience in licensed childcare; CDA or degrees in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education preferred.
