Job Summary
Asst Infant Teacher needed to develop a careful and creative program suitable for infants, using a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media) to teach, observe and support each child’s social development and self-esteem, guide activities to develop artistic and practical skills, manage nap and snack times, track progress and report to parents, and collaborate with fellow educators in a clean, safe classroom focused on health and safety. The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and a supportive, fun classroom environment with opportunities for paid training and career advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED.
- 45 DCF hours (required)
- 1-2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility (preferred)
- CDA, degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (preferred)
