Job Summary
Role involves assisting in managing a safe, clean, developmentally appropriate daycare environment; supervising children and ensuring health, nutrition, diapering, and safety standards per DOH Day Care regulations; planning and implementing daily activities to stimulate motor, language, social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral development; assisting in planning school-wide events; maintaining professional communication with parents; attending staff meetings and professional development; and complying with training and clearance requirements for staff (fingerprint, NYS clearance, medical). The position requires a High School Diploma with Child Development Certification (or a HS Diploma with one year of child care experience) and is based in Staten Island, NY.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and Child Development Certification
- OR High School Diploma AND One year of child care experience in an early childhood day care setting preferred
