Job Summary
Prepares and distributes meals and snacks for children and staff according to USDA, licensing, and health department guidelines. Follows daily menus while ensuring safe food preparation, proper sanitation, and maintaining a safe kitchen and pantry area. Maintains inventory of food and supplies. Willing to work in the classroom during times when Georgia Pre K is not in session. Requires high school diploma, cooking experience, and ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Monday-Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background checks & health assessments
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for large group food service
- Previous experience working in licensed childcare
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a childcare center
- ServSafe certification
- Experience with CACFP
