Job Summary
Lead the daily care of infants and toddlers by following licensing guidelines and implementing the proprietary curriculum to create interactive learning experiences. Accurately observe, assess, and plan for children's development while communicating effectively with families. Complete extensive training on child care and preschool topics, ensuring all state requirements for background checks, immunizations, and CPR/First Aid are met. Engage in physical activity with children both indoors and outdoors. Requires at least six months of classroom leadership experience and 12 Early Childhood Education units. Full-time employees receive health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a 401K match; Monday through Friday schedule applies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 months experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center
- Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units
- The ability to meet state requirements for background, immunization, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training requirements
- Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
- At least 18
