Job Summary
Prepare breakfast and afternoon snacks, wash dishes, and cover lunches in the classroom while ensuring all allergy and restriction requirements are met. Serve catered lunches, clean kitchen and facility floors, wipe down refrigerators and freezers, and remove trash. Assist with ordering food and kitchen items, help the classroom when required, and cover teachers as needed. Maintain accurate records per Peel Health and Ministry of Education standards. This role offers consistent hours at a childcare facility focused on a clean, safe environment for children.
Required Qualifications

- a food handling certificate
- up to date Immunizations based on childcare regulations & TB test based on Ministry of Education requirements for childcare
- a Criminal reference check based on Ministry of Education requirements for childcare
- experience working in a kitchen
- Experience working with multiple allergies
- High school diploma
- able to carry 40 pounds
- stand for extended periods of time
