Job Summary
Cook, bake, and prepare meals and snacks for children with special dietary needs while maintaining children's allergy lists and ensuring safe food storage with temperature logs. Manage daily kitchen operations by ordering supplies, replenishing dishware, following portioning guidelines, and maintaining inventory. Uphold all health regulations and company best practices while executing a comprehensive cleaning schedule for dishes and kitchen areas. Occasionally prepare food for field trips, school-age programs, and community events. Duties may shift based on daycare center needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED equivalency
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract
- Current Food Handler Certification or willingness to get one
- Clear background checks
- Up-to-date health assessments
- Ability to push, pull and lift to 45 pounds
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to take initiative and problem-solve effectively
