Job Summary
Daycare Center Director responsible for strategic leadership and operational oversight across licensed early childhood programs serving 6 weeks to 6 years. Lead regulatory compliance, program development, budgeting, enrollment growth, staff mentoring, family engagement, and community partnerships. Drive quality assurance, curriculum oversight, child outcomes monitoring, and collaboration with regulatory bodies and the Board of Directors/ownership. Requires strong leadership, budgeting, enrollment management, and communication skills, with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and significant experience in early childhood or multi-site operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience in early childhood education or multi-site operations
- Strong knowledge of licensing regulations, early childhood development standards, and best practices in child care management
- Proven ability to manage budgets, drive enrollment growth, and oversee multi-site operations
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
