Job Summary
Daycare/Preschool Center Director overseeing a The Learning Experience Early Childhood Education center in New Jersey. Lead by example to ensure health and safety compliance, manage and coach staff, implement the curriculum, drive enrollment and family retention, oversee P&L and payroll, and engage families through tours and community events. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in ECE or CDA credential or related degree, at least three years of ECE teaching experience with one year in a leadership role, a successful background check, health and safety training, and knowledge of state licensing rules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or degree in early childhood education
- At least three years of experience teaching in early childhood education and one year in a leadership role
- Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and complete required health and safety training
- Facility must pass state licensing inspections and maintain proper records
- Minimum of 12 ECE credits required
