Job Summary
Daycare Center Cook/ Food Specialist at La Petite Academy focused on overall food preparation for enrolled children. Create home-style, nutritional meal plans within the school menu and budget, while meeting state and federal requirements. Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff, distribute food to classrooms, and follow USDA/licensing/health department regulations. Maintain inventory of food and supplies and order more when needed. May assist in classrooms as needed as an Assistant Teacher/Floater. Part-time role with a Monday–Friday work week; compensation includes bi-weekly and daily pay options, and education assistance including tuition reimbursement and a 401K with company match.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in cooking/food preparation for childcare facility (preferred)
