Job Summary
Lead warehouse operations by managing personnel, ensuring safety-first culture, and driving efficient inbound receiving and outbound shipping. Oversee associate performance through coaching, training, and disciplinary action while maintaining accurate order staging and stock levels. Direct workforce productivity, monitor operational metrics like mis-picks, and ensure compliance with food safety and facility standards. Schedule shifts using planning tools and coordinate with operations management to control inventory shrink and expenses. This role requires three years of warehouse distribution experience and one year overseeing a workforce, with a base salary of $60,000-$100,000.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution
- Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures
- Strong leadership, communication and people development skills
- Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data
- Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office)
- High school diploma or GED
- 10% travel required, typically for mandatory meetings and/or training
- Must be able to perform physical activities including standing occasionally, walking frequently, driving a vehicle occasionally, sitting frequently, and lifting 1-10 lbs occasionally, 11-20 lbs occasionally, 21-50 lbs occasionally, 51-100 lbs occasionally, and carrying 1-10 lbs continuously, 11-20 lbs occasionally, 21-50 lbs occasionally, 51-100 lbs occasionally
