Job Summary
Prepare the receiving dock and unload trucks, verifying product quantities against purchase orders and recording inbound items accurately. Break down purchase orders by item, compare packing lists to received goods, and report discrepancies to the Operations Supervisor. Use pump, electric, and hi-lo forklifts to stock shelves, maintain orderly pick slots, and process packing requests for delivery. Record all movements via RF scanners, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure safe operation of equipment throughout the warehouse. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p. m., with occasional longer hours during peak demand.

- Listen and communicate respectfully with employees at all levels within the organization and outside vendors
- Maintain regular attendance and follow call out and time off procedures as outlined in the handbook
- Comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook

- Specific vision requirements for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
- Frequently required to stand; walk; climb stairs/ladders; stoop; kneel; crouch; balance; use hands to finger, handle or feel a keypad, handheld device or phone; and reach with hands and arms
- Frequently required to lift/carry 25-50 pounds safely from floor to waist height, and from waist height to shoulders
- Occasionally expected to lift/carry up 25-50 pounds above the shoulders
- Occasionally expected to lift/carry over 50 pounds
- Frequently expected to push/pull items from 25 – 50 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a warehouse setting or as a receiver
- Knowledge of inventory process
- Experience with fork lifts and/or pallet jacks and RF scanners
