Job Summary
Day Trip Assistant escorts program participants to and from day trips, facilitates completion of general waiver forms prior to each trip, records attendance, distributes trip-related materials, provides companionship for participants traveling alone, supervises boarding and disembarking on the motorcoach, and supports District customer service standards. The role requires basic computer software knowledge, the ability to stay prepared for emergencies, professionalism in interactions with participants, and the ability to address complaints and resolve concerns. Education and experience include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain First Aid, CPR, and AED certification within two months of hire. The position operates under the supervision of the Program Manager and may involve evenings and weekends with flexible schedules and outdoor environmental conditions.
