Job Summary
Day time Order Picker at The Home Depot responsible for obtaining pick lists, gathering products from the store to fill orders, packing and labeling to prevent damage, loading delivery vehicles, and assisting with curbside orders. Must be able to read order notes, handle basic POS transactions, and maintain safety and loss-prevention practices. Key duties include prioritizing picks, using the Order Fulfillment Application, moving merchandise between staging areas, and ensuring timely order completion. Required skills include attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal abilities, customer focus, and the ability to operate order picker machinery and reach trucks; physical ability to lift heavy items and work in a warehouse environment. Minimum education is High School Diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of retail or distribution experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
