Job Summary
The Day Support Professional is responsible for implementing person-centered services and ensuring the safety and well-being of program participants. Key duties include developing and facilitating individual growth plans, training participants in skills development, supporting community inclusion, providing transportation, collecting behavioral data, documenting progress, and reporting incidents. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are mandatory, with preferred qualifications including relevant certifications and experience in developmental disabilities. Compensation starts at $19 per hour with additional benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid NYS driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant certification)
- Direct Support Professional (DSP) certificate from an accredited public or private organization
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
