Job Summary
Conduct assigned street sweeping routes by reviewing plans, operating a mechanical broom sweeper, and ensuring high-quality cleanup while adhering to traffic laws and site protocols. Perform required pre- and post-trip equipment inspections, handle materials according to safety procedures, and immediately report any equipment issues or incidents. Maintain accurate logs and documentation, communicate professionally with supervisors and clients, and adapt to changing conditions to solve problems as they arise. Drive the vehicle safely with a CDL-B license, maintaining an acceptable driving record and completing all necessary background checks and drug screenings.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- 1 year DOT driving experience
- CDL-B
- DOT Medical Card
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Acceptable driving record
- Successful motor vehicle record (MVR) check
- Background check
- Drug screening
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Conduct inspections
