Job Summary
Stock all merchandise in its proper location according to shelf allocation, replace misplaced items, and rotate stock to ensure freshness. Unload trucks, sweep and mop store areas, and keep the stockroom neat while properly removing and disposing of trash. Check shelf labels for pricing accuracy, clean and straighten shelves, and hang tags. Bale all boxes and provide efficient, courteous service to customers. Must be 18 years or older, able to meet physical demands, and follow verbal or written instructions during scheduled shifts. Food City is a family-owned company dedicated to running the best store in town and supporting local communities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks
- Ability to have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts
