Job Summary
Universal Caregivers / Med Aides provide direct resident care in Assisted Living and Residential Care Communities, including activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring), medication setup and administration after training, updating resident records, reporting changes in health or behavior to the supervisor, maintaining a clean and safe environment, assisting with meals and daily activities, attending trainings, and performing additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience and/or training with working with seniors
- Valid CPR, First Aid and Food Handlers cards (can be acquired during the hiring process)
- Pre-Service Universal Caregiver training is required
