Job Summary
Day Shift Maintenance Mechanic at Monroe Township High School responsible for preventative maintenance repairs and new installations for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment and systems; assists with custodial operations and supports Facilities Department operations. Must have professional trade training with accredited certifications; Black Seal License preferred and enrollment in a licensed program within 6 months if not possessed. 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week; August 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Salary starts at $21.45/hour with health/dental/prescription insurance, pension enrollment, sick and personal days, and EAP.
Required Qualifications
- Professional trade training with accredited certifications & experience
- Black Seal License preferred
- If applicant does not possess a current Black Seal License, they must enroll in an approved black seal licensing program within 6 months of being appointed by the Board of Education.
